“Jenn was a huge asset to us as we built out SoulPancake's content team. With a clear and joyful communication style, Jenn is passionate about her craft and very encouraging to writers who are honing their skills and looking for reliable, thoughtful feedback. Jenn was able to consistently rally our humble and scrappy team to produce inventive, compelling content for our platform and cultivated a sense of collaboration and team spirit though we were all based remotely.”

“Working with Jenn Ashton on my writing is one of the highlights of the past year for me. Her insightful feedback and critique are always delivered with utmost kindness. She helps me see the weak spots in my writing that need my attention but is a joy to work with as she cheers me on.”
I have considered myself a writer from around the age of 6, and I was first published at age 14. Since then I have written in many genres and for many purposes, from children's books, fiction and non-fiction, to newspaper editorials, music magazine columns, course and training materials and academic journals. I am currently working on a number of works, and you can find me in the Simon Fraser University's Writer's Studio as a TA until the summer of 2020!
I am a proud member of The Creative Nonfiction Collective Society, The Federation of British Columbia Writers, The North Shore Authors Collection and Access Copyright.
